According to a leak from tipster Yogesh Brar, the OnePlus Pad 2 is set to be priced at Rs 45,999 in India, positioning it as a premium offering in the tablet market. This leak also revealed prices for accompanying accessories, the OnePlus Smart Keyboard at Rs 11,999 and the OnePlus Stylo 2 at Rs 5,000.

The OnePlus Pad 2, known previously as the OnePlus Pad Pro in its Chinese debut, promises several upgrades over its predecessor. Key among these is a larger 12.1-inch LCD display, a step up from the previous model’s 11.61-inch screen.

This enhancement suggests a focus on providing users with a more immersive viewing experience, ideal for multimedia consumption and productivity tasks alike.

The OnePlus Pad 2 is expected to feature the powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, a significant upgrade from the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 found in its predecessor. This chipset upgrade indicates improved performance and efficiency, essential for handling demanding applications and multitasking scenarios smoothly.

In terms of battery life and charging capabilities, the OnePlus Pad 2 is rumored to retain the impressive 9,510mAh battery capacity and support for 67W fast wired charging.

Camera capabilities on the OnePlus Pad 2 are reported to remain consistent with its predecessor, a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera. They offer adequate functionality for video calls, scanning documents, and occasional photography needs.

The leak also suggests that the initial pricing of Rs 45,999 for the OnePlus Pad 2 may be influenced by promotional discounts, hinting at a potential increase post-launch.

OnePlus is set to officially showcase the OnePlus Pad 2 alongside several other new devices at its upcoming Summer Launch Event on July 16.

Alongside the tablet, the event will introduce the Nord 4 smartphone, Watch 2R, and Nord Buds 3 Pro, underscoring OnePlus’s commitment to expanding its product lineup across different tech categories.

The anticipation surrounding the OnePlus Pad 2 reflects broader trends in the tech industry, where tablets are increasingly seen as versatile tools for both professional and personal use.

With its enhanced display, upgraded processor, and robust battery performance, the OnePlus Pad 2 aims to carve out a niche in the competitive tablet market, appealing to users seeking a premium yet functional device.

The leaks provide a glimpse into what OnePlus has in store, promising a device that combines cutting-edge technology with a user-friendly experience.
